Juvederm

Juvederm® is a dermal filler that can restore a more youthful appearance to the mid- and lower face. It is based on hyaluronic acid, which is substance that is naturally occurring in the human body. Juvederm® will plump up the skin, filling deep facial wrinkles, and creases. A common location where Juvederm® is used is in the nasolabial folds, or the lines which run from near the nose to the corners of the mouth.

Since hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the body, there is no risk of long-term irritation or rejection. Juvederm® is injected directly into the tissue. Distribution is important in the treatment and treatments require several injections.

Results with fillers are seen immediately and will last 3-6 months.
