Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a simple skin-freshening procedure that revitalizes dull skin, reduces the size of pores, and helps repair skin that is aging or sun-damaged. A device like a sandblaster using tiny crystals and suction removes dead skin. It is a stand-alone technique that brightens skin considerably, and when done in repeated treatments 4-6 weeks apart or when combined with a peel can make a huge difference in the vitality of the skin.
As with any other skin procedure it is important to use sunscreen following the procedure regardless of whether the sun is shining or it is summer or winter.
